Our Story
AGH Farm & Livestock was founded in October 2021 when we left a life of 27 years in Lewisville Texas to move to Mount Pleasant Texas. We love the outdoors, and the simple relaxed lifestyle that Mount Pleasant offers. We're making wonderful memories with our children and grandchildren as we enjoy our post-retirement journey.
Our goals are
- Improve the health of our land, by being the best stewards that we can be.
- Improve the health of our family by providing a safe and eco friendly food supply.

Little Miss Biscuit
We raise Idaho-Pasture Pigs exclusively here at AGH Farm & Livestock. Idaho Pasture Pigs are comprised of Old Berkshire, Duroc and Kunekune breeds. This pig is great for small family farms.
The meat from grass-fed pigs is higher in omega-3 fatty acids. It’s also more marbleized than traditional grown pork, with a deep red color and a sweeter flavor.
Idaho Pasture Pig boars mature to about 350 to 450 pounds. Sows top out about 250 to 350 pounds. With a diet consisting primarily of grass, the pigs will mature to a butcher weight of about 230 to 250 pounds in approximately 10 months.
